Canada Strong Model Car YouTube Group Build 2026

Hey everybody!

Join us in celebrating Canadian automotive culture, history, and creativity! From iconic Canadian-branded cars to historic racing machines, commercial trucks, and even vehicles from Canadian TV shows and movies, this group build is open to all skill levels and all kinds of Canadian vehicles.

Start Date: January 1 2026
End Date: July 1 2026

How to Participate

  1. Vehicle Eligibility
    Any vehicle with a strong connection to Canada is welcome. This includes (but is not limited to):

    • Canadian-branded cars: Mercury Meteor, Beaumont, Acadian, Bricklin, Maple Leaf, etc.

    • Vehicles built in Canada: GM Oshawa, Studebaker Ontario, Ford Oakville, and other Canadian plants

    • Canadian TV & pop culture vehicles: Red Green van, Bob & Doug McKenzie van, etc.

    • Service vehicles: RCMP, fire trucks, EMS, municipal vehicles

    • Commercial vehicles: Canadian-branded trucks, vans, delivery vehicles (Molson, Woodward’s, Woolco, Zellers, Canadian Tire, etc.)

    • Tour & political vehicles: Canadian rock band tour buses, political campaign buses, Royal Family vehicles used in Canada

    • Racing vehicles: Historic Canadian race cars, Formula 1 cars, Le Mans entries, stock cars, or rally cars

  2. Canadian Licence Plate Requirement - All models must include a Canadian-style licence plate, either from your decal stash or printed/scaled from a real plate. Accuracy is encouraged but not required — creativity counts!
  3. Scale & Skill Level
    Any scale is welcome, and builders of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. This is a fun, inclusive Youtube group build — participation matters more than perfection.

  4. Build Rules

    • Vehicles may be screen-accurate, historically accurate, or inspired-by Canadian sources.

    • You may kitbash, 3D print parts, or use stock kits.

  5. Video Rules
    • You need and introduction video letting us know what you are going to build.

    • You may make as many progress videos as you like, but include a final build video showing your work.

    • Upload your videos to your YouTube channel as usual.

    • Use the hashtag #CanadaStrongGroupBuild in your video title and description so we can find you on YouTube and follow your progress.
