Monster Hobbies Build A Monster Contest 2025
Hey everybody!
It's time once again for the Build A Monster Contest. All your favorite categories are back, along with a very exciting special category!
This year, we're going to celebrate 100 years of Universal Studio's Phantom Of The Opera!
Stick with the original kit or go beyond the box!
Reimagine the Phantom in bold new ways - Gothic monster, Steampunk masks, futuristic Phantoms, or mash-up dioramas!
Use kits from AMT, Polar Lights, Atlantis, Games Workshop,
or mix and match your own creations.
You can enter stand-alone models or wild crossover dioramas where the Phantom haunts any world you can dream up!
For Walk-In Contestants:
Simply enter the store on Saturday, October 25th 2025 with your model and we will provide you with a contest entry form and a place to display your models. Don't forget to add a description of what you did to your model and which category it is in.
The walk-in deadline is 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 25th 2025.
Winners will be announced at 4:00 pm and certificates given out at that time.
Models will be displayed on our new Facebook Business Page and featured in a special contest video on our YouTube channel : Monster Hobbies Monster Model Dungeon.
Walk-in entry payment can be made in person at our store. -$5.00 per entry
For Online Contestants:
Simply send 4 good pictures of your models to ursulescu@yahoo.com with a description of what you did to your model and which category it is in.
The online deadline is midnight Friday, October 31st 2025 - Alberta time.
Winners will be announced by November 3rd 2024 on our new Facebook Business Page.
Online entry payment can be made through PayPal or by clicking on our "CONTEST ENTRY FEES AND RULES” section on our web store. - $5.00 per entry
