Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's Drag Nut hits the scene!

Ed "Big Daddy" Roth was an American Artist, cartoonist, illustrator, custom car designer, pinstriper, and builder. He created the hot rod icon Rat Fink and other Fink characters. Roth was a key figure in Southern California's Kustom Kulture and hot rod movement of the late 1950's and 1960's. By the August 1959 issue of Car Craft, his airbrush Wierdo shirts had become a full blown craze. His many real Show Rod creations would become some of Revell's most popular model kits.
