In April 1963, the first two SA 3160 Alouette III helicopters of the Gendarmerie, Nos. 1097 F-MJBE and 1098 F-MJBF, which are featured in this set, were recorded at the LYON-BRON helicopter base. The aircraft, with its maneuverability suitable for night vision flights, was considered ideal for surveillance and rescue missions at the time.
