This kit dates from 1987 and features the popular custom street-machine styling of the era. The kit includes the Chevrolet 409 V8, simulated billet-style wheels, Michelin TRX radial tires, hood louvers and custom 1980s graphics.

The tooling itself has an interesting history, going all the way back to the original 1969 release. The Revell 1953/1954 Chevrolet tooling was used for both the sedan and sedan delivery versions, and different releases can represent the two model years in different combinations.

Please note: This is a vintage kit and is not a modern, newly tooled model. The tooling shows its age in places, including mold marks and some flash. The doors are molded closed but the original tooling provides hinge components for builders who wish to carefully open them. This modification requires considerable care because some areas around the door openings are quite thin.

The kit is an interesting choice for builders who enjoy vintage Revell tooling, custom cars, factory-stock conversions and kitbashing. Parts from other Chevrolet kits can also provide possibilities for creating a more stock 1950s Chevrolet.

Contents: COMPLETE with DECALS, INSTRUCTIONS, BAGGED PARTS, ETC. - Bags have been opened, but all parts are there. - Clear parts placed in zip lock bags to prevent scratching.
