The first Thunderbirds rolled off the assembly line in 1955 and Ford kept the 'Bird rollin' until 1997. The new Thunderbird combines all the modern hardware you'd expect in a year 2000 car with the classic design style of the original '55 model that started it all. The new version will be offered in several colors that will remind the admirer of the first generation classic. 


The interior of the new Thunderbird wraps around the driver and passenger, and provides all the features needed to enjoy a drive with the top up or down. The two-tone design is based on the original 1955 model, but fully modernized.
