The Hawker Hurricane was the RAF's most essential fighter in the early years of WWII. These durable, partly fabric-covered monoplane fighters mounted a brave defense against the numerically superior Luftwaffe during the Blitzkrieg. Although slower than the Messerschmitt Bf109, and with a less powerful armament, the Hurricane could turn more sharply and withstand significant damage.

This 1:48 scale model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I highlights one of the RAF's crucial fighters from the early stages of the Second World War. With 127 components, this skill level 3 kit offers a rewarding project for modellers aged 8 and up, replicating the robust, partially fabric-covered monoplane that played a key role during the intense Blitzkrieg period. Boasting a wingspan of 253mm and including parts for two distinct aircraft liveries, this plastic kit delivers an accurate portrayal of the iconic fighter that, along with the Spitfire, defended the skies over Britain.
